Rocco Perla Jr.
Rocco Perla Jr. 51, lives in Churchill with his wife and children. Rocco now has over 32 years at Perla's Appliances Plus, starting out with an extensive service background, including learning from his father and grandfather, as well as attending several service schools and seminars and factory training sessions around the country. Viking, Sub-Zero, Maytag, Dacor, Miele, Whirlpool, KitchenAid, Best, Broan, GE, Uline, and many more can be counted as some of the companies who have held product training and/or service and installation schools Rocco has attended. Rocco also enjoys cooking very much whenever time allows, as well as snow-skiing whenever possible.
Georgean Perla
Georgeann lives in Churchill with her husband Rocco, and lately also with from 1 to 3 of their 4 children. Georgeann has also worked in the business for over 10 years, and coordinates most of the service and parts for Perla's Appliances Plus. She also enjoys spending time with her children, walking her dog, and volunteering in the community whenever possible, including at various times helping or running the local swim team and club for many years.
Rocco Perla III
Rocco, 28, is a graduate of Woodland Hills High School, went to college at the University of Vermont, and is back in Pittsburgh after having lived in Vermont and also out west in Utah. Rocco now also has over 10 years of off and on experience in the business, and has attended various factory training schools in California, Illinois, New Jersey and other areas. Rocco is also an avid and expert skiier, as well an amatuer musician, playing both piano and guitar.
Andy Cencarik
Originally from Swissvale, currently resides in Wheeling, WV, with his wife and dog, after having lived in Oregon and Texas, among other places. Andy has over 30 years experience in the business, including being a manufacturer's rep for many high-end products, including Thermador, Gaggenau, Sub-Zero, and others. Andy is a father of two sons, has just recently retired also from the National Guard, and enjoys golfing, cooking, and watching the Steelers & Penguins.
Marissa Perla
Marissa Perla 20, lives in Churchill with her family, is a graduate of Boyce Campus Middle College High School, and currently also a student at Allegheny County Community College. Marissa has worked at a variety of some Pittsburgh restaurants and clubs, including DejaVu and some others, also has worked at a local gym, has done some personal training as well as beginning to do some modeling.
Marissa, like many family business people, does whatever is asked, including customer service scheduling, assisting our customers with product selection, and helps in the paperwork processing at the store. She also recently has been named our Social Media Director, having input with advertising and marketing as well as web development and fulfillment.
Marissa enjoys skiing, swimming, working out, and is a real people person, just like her mother.
Ben Holler
Ben Holler, 25, originally from New Castle, now resides in Penn Hills Ben is a graduate of PTI technical institute, has been with Perla's about 2 years, currently providing appliance delivery and installation, as well as some product service. Ben enjoys almost all sports in general, and loves to get out and golf whenever he can.
Matthew Perla
Matt is 22, currently lives in Churchill with his family, after having graduated from Woodland Hills High School, where he was a 3-sport varsity athlete guy (Swimming, Soccer, & Volleyball), and going to college at Florida Atlantic University, where he also swam and majored in business. Matt has also attended several service schools and seminars, and in addition to working on kitchen & laundry appliances, enjoys modifying cars and still swims and works out.
Steven White
Steven White, 25, from and still living in Penn Hills, has been with Perla's Appliances Plus about 2 years. Steven has held several positions in retail sales in Monroeville, and has developed excellent customer service skills, and has been able and willing to do everything asked of him at Perla's, including delivery and installation, product repairs, and capably helping customers with product selection in the store.
Steven also enjoys working on cars and trucks, as well as playing and watching many different sports.
